Community rapid COVID-19 testing continues in Williston

COVID-19 Rapid Testing 2.1 - InstaWILLISTON, N.D. – The fourth community BinaxNOW Rapid Antigen screening will be held next Monday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This walk-in testing event is open to the general public, aged 18 and older, that are asymptomatic (showing no signs and symptoms of COVID-19) and will be held in the former Sloulin Airport hangar at 408 Airport Road.

If you are showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your primary care physician.

Individuals wishing to access the testing site are asked to turn on their vehicle’s 4-way flashers, enter from 42nd Street West, and then turn on 6th Avenue West. Posted signage will provide additional guidance.

Upon arrival, individuals will be directed to park and exit their vehicles. Individuals will enter the hangar through the marked west door and proceed through the testing process. A mask is required to enter the hangar.

Tests will be self-administered with the assistance of City of Williston and Williams County staff. Once individuals complete their test, they will exit the hangar through the east door, return to their vehicle, and leave the site. Results will be sent in approximately 15 minutes via text message.

To save time for anyone taking the BinaxNOW tests, individuals are strongly encouraged to pre-register. Registration can be completed online at but is not required if an individual has been previously tested.

Future Monday BinaxNOW Rapid Antigen screening events will be held in February. Please monitor the City of Williston website and social media for updates.

In addition, the Upper Missouri District Health Unit (UMDHU), in conjunction with Williston State College (WSC), continues to offer Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing on Mondays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Art Wood building at WSC. The next testing event is Monday, February 1.
