Housing Commission | Open Positions
The Housing Commission has three open positions! These positions are for representatives from the Banking Industry, Oil & Gas, and the Private Sector. These volunteer positions are each a 3-year term and involvement in the Commission, in addition to relevant sub-committees, requires meeting at least once a month.
Interested individuals must write a short letter detailing their interest and qualifications, and what seat they would like to fill on the Housing Commission. Letters can be submitted to Mark Schneider, Development Services Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org, mailed to PO Box 1306, or hand-delivered to Development Services at 113 4th Street East, Williston, ND.
Application letters are due by Friday, February 4, 2022. All letters will be reviewed, and recommendations for each open seat will be presented to the City Commission for approval at the regularly scheduled commission meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

On January 28, 2020, the City Commission established a Housing Commission to explore housing industry problems and opportunities within the City of Williston and Williams County.
