Due to the recent wind storm, City residents may dispose of tree branches at the Williston Landfill, free of charge until Monday, August 3, 2015.
Public Works will also be collecting branches placed in the boulevard, until Monday, August 3, 2015. Branches will not be collected from alleys.
Residents are encouraged to haul their own tree branches to the landfill.
Commercial rates will remain in effect for commercial haulers and businesses.
Due to emergency repairs, traffic will be reduced to 2-lanes with a reduced speed limit on East Broadway from East Dakota Parkway to County Road 9. Drivers are advised to drive with caution or try to avoid this route until repaired.
Public Works and the City Landfill will be closed Friday, July 3rd, 2015 and Saturday, July 4th, 2015 for the Fourth of July Holiday. Regular summer hours will resume on Monday, July 6th, 2015.

The City of Williston Forestry Department will be placing flyers on Ash trees throughout Williston with information and what the public can do to help keep this devastating invasive pest out of North Dakota. E.A.B is a very small metallic green beetle that attacks all varieties of ash. The flyers have useful information on this pest and its areas of infestation.
